What is AUTISM?

Human brain plays major role in understanding the things which we see, smell, touch, taste and experience. But when someone's brain has trouble in understanding or interpreting these things, it can make them difficult to talk, listen, understand, play, and learn. This difficult situation in the children is known as AUTISM. This difficulty can be severe, mild or average. At AUTISM CARE CENTRE, a child is introduced to systematic learning procedures to develop child's IQ level.

Symptoms of AUTISM?

  1. A child with AUTISM can not have an eye contact
  2. Extreme difficulty in learning language
  3. Inability to respond or Sluggish behaviour
  4. Inability to play with other children or to make friends
  5. Frequent crying and tantrums for no apparent reason
  6. Extremely distressed by everyday noises
  7. Difficult to talk, listen, understand, play and learn.

What is ADHD?

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is the most common behavioral disorder encouters these days, that starts during childhood. However, people of all ages can suffer from ADHD. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) estimates that 3% to 5% of children have ADHD. Some experts, though, say ADHD may occurs in 8% to 10% of school-aged children.

It is a chronic disorder with 30 to 50 percent of those individuals diagnosed in childhood continuing to have symptoms into adult age. Adolescents and adults with ADHD tend to develop coping mechanisms to compensate for some or all of their impairments.

Symptoms of ADHD?

  1. Short span of attention
  2. Messy and careless responses
  3. Inability to stay at one place
  4. Easily distracted by irrelevant events
  5. Frequent crying and tantrums for no reasons
  6. Getting up frequently to walk or run around
  7. Not following details or rules of activities in social situations often talking excessively

What is Dyslexia or Reading Difficulties?

Dyslexia is also known as Reading Disorder. The symptoms of dyslexia are measured by reading achievement, i.e., reading accuracy, speed or comprehension as measured by standardized tests, that falls substantially below that expected, given the individual’s chronological age, measured intelligence, and age appropriate education (DSM-IV Dyslexia 1994).

Symptoms of Dyslexia or Reading Difficulties?

  1. Unable to read materials that other children of the same age can.
  2. Difficulty remembering meaning and pronunciation of words that they have read/learned
  3. Poor in spelling as a result of (2)
  4. Poor in comprehension as a result of reading difficulty
  5. Some have symptoms of attention deficit or distractibility (ADHD comorbidity)
  6. Poor handwriting
  7. Poor essay writing

What are the Symptoms of Learning Difficulties?

  1. Poor reading and comprehension.
  2. Poor in mathematics and problem solvingd
  3. Poor cognition (thinking and reasoning)
  4. Poor memory
  5. Poor auditory processing)
  6. Poor visual processing
  7. Lack of focus, short attention spans

  1. Passive and slow to response.
  2. Unable to learn on their own or complete assignments on their own
  3. Functions at ability but significantly below grade level
  4. Is prone to immature interpersonal relationships
  5. Has difficulty following multi-step directions
  6. Lives in the present and does not have long range goals
  7. Scores consistently low on achievement test
